We have had some really sad news for our group.

Our Vice Chairman and dear friend Vic Lander died peacefully in his sleep on 29th January.

We would all like to send our thoughts and wishes to his wife Brenda.

We will miss Vic very much, he brought a vibrancy to our group and worked tirelessly to introduce new ideas and opportunities for us all to enjoy.

Vic was always so welcoming - as if he was waiting for just you to arrive.

Vic was a fun loving and gentle man always ready with a humorous quip. He also knew the true value of the biblical term "love thy neighbour" for he had true compassion for others.

Vic was a person who cared very about people and their experiences. On behalf of the My Brighton and Hove volunteer group I should like to send condolences to his wife and family.

Vic and I joined the TA together in 1960 and remained great almost inseperable buddies for several decades afterwards. I'll miss him, his compassion and humour, and the gift he had for bringining a smile to the faces of all those who came into contact with him.
