Is this in arundel road? I used to have a friend who lived in the house on the corner, next to lidls, (No 41 arundel road) it was a newsagents then in the 1960s, and while on a visit last week, I noticed the that the new lidl has been built and I have been trying to remember what was there before, it looks as though it could have been this Wilson's Laundry? Can anyone confirm this for me please?
Hi Sally You are quite right this is Arundel Road. You can see the shop to which you refer on the left of the picture just past the end of the laundry. Where the yellow flag is flying on the picture is now the entrance to Lidl's car park. Keith Chambers - Editor for East Brighton Bygones.
