I was a pupil at this school in 1948 am now 72 .It is strange seeing the old dormitories quite nostalgic. It was difficult being a student just after the war, very cold, and food rationing. Education mainly art drama and music. My Headmistress was a very strict Miss Conrady.
The sea view makes me think this is a dorm in Babington House, at 3/4 Chichester Terrace, where I was an SMH boarder in the early 60s. Miss Conrady retired, I left school for university and Babington was sold to developers. In 2000 the then owner of one of the apartments kindly hosted a group of over-excited 50 somethings as they polished their memories of boarding at Babington. So sad that SMH is now closed.
