Hello,
On further investigation I discovered that WALTER SPEED (who was living with wife Mary Ann in Windsor St, Brighton, 1884) was born in MITCHAM, Surrey. Walter was a Fly Proprietor at this time.
Does this tie in with your family Beryl?
Their children included Laura and Selina.

Hi I have just started researching my family and it is painfully slow but great fun. I was scanning the various sites when I came across yours. I am not sure if we are related but strange to say I am from Mitcham Surrey and my mother still lives there. Regards Peter

I am related to your family via the Rowett family. My great Uncle was Jim Rowett who married Mary Westney, my Mum's cousin is Roy Rowett, my mum was Phyllis Rowett (married Ken Willis)

remember me? I was the former eb4u neibourhood warden. I was looking at your Lillywhite family and would suggest that you access the tribes pages website by entering the password which I will give you by email . If you the go to the name search and put in Lillywhite you will see lots of our shared ancestors on the family tree. It will also explain the brighton and chichester family links.
