1. Paston Place

The Banjo Groyne at Paston Place was originally the eastern terminus of the Volks Electric Railway. It was also the embarkation point for Volk's other famous invention, the Daddy Long Legs, which ran from Banjo Groyne to Rottingdean. The original Daddy-Long-Legs was destroyed by a great storm in 1896, after only having been running for six days. It was later painstakingly reconstructed.
